::The beast lashes forward at you, hungry for food, and possibly blood. Or maybe it's the fact you smell like Gemstones.::

*!? runs first, admittedly freaked out by the hungry monster that apparently thinks I smell good!*

*she keeps running, wondering why something is attacking her like this...!?

... and why is it so dark out!? Is this thing the cause of it?*

::Who knows. It's chasing you, though, little one. You hear it echo out a quiet roar, snapping its jaws behind you.::

*eventually, she realizes she can't really find her way around in this darkness-- she's nowhere near familiar enough with the area to figure it out!

w-well. this is an emergency situation. emergency situations require emergency measures!

so she manages to get down an alleyway, if only to bottleneck this thing that's going after her, focusing herself as something glinting forms on her right hand and down her arm...*

::It's been bottle necked, by it's slamming it weight on the alleyway, trying to force itself in.::

*she's a little uncertain if she should, but right now she's pretty much trapped, so.

the next time that the monster tries to snap at her from their bottlenecked position, she slams into it with a diamond glinting gauntlet. you might've wanted a gemstone sandwich but that might've been more your jaw bet on happening.*

::The beast howls from the gemstone sandwich, stumbling back, whining with a guttural growl.::

*... s-she's trying to look determined, but she's honestly scared.

But on the other hand, wow, that packed a wallop*

::The beast whimpers for a moment but charges with its cyclopean eye gleaming white, snapping its barely illuminated jaws, trying to grab you, Slate.::

*momentarily freaks out, slugging the monster again with the gauntlet. ow.*

::A tooth rattles before you. It looks very sharp. And the dragon seems even more infuriated, Slate.::

*w-well, that's what it gets for trying to eat me!

and sinking me into midnight-level darkness! it'll have to deal with a loose tooth*

::It's so mad it pushes itself into the alleyway which looks uncomfortable.::

::Another two teeth fall out, the beast whining. ... You think it. Might have had it's. Lower jaw broken.::

*one might think that nothing can eat after that.*

::It tries to violently lash out at you, swinging a claw at you.::

*yelp! she guards with the guantlet but she still gets swing at, getting tossed into the building side.

which. hurts, ow. But as long as he's bottlenecked there he can't really do much to stop her from recovering.

::It's just wildly clawing and squirming, unable to move much. You really can take your time. ... Probably.::

*after she manages to recover somewhat, she tries to figure something.

Maybe if she focuses enough she can make a weapon to attack with. that stuff's a lot harder than the gauntlet though.*

::Take your time, or you could just leave with the dragon stuck in a wall and let the police deal with it.::

That's certainly disconcerting.

And that eye is concerting. Maybe if I.. keep walking, it will suddenly. Not be midnight all of a sudden anymore.

::You hear something walk behind you. Much bigger than you.::

First I'll turn around and look. Maybe it's a cat.
